Elevated Dog Feeder for Around $8

We had this little chair left over from the girl's room that the back wasn't very good on! And I wanted to have an elevated dog bowl for Ellie! So I saw some sites online showing how they made them! So we took this old seat, took the back off measured out how big the hole would need to be!
Jeremiah cutting it out!! He loves doing this kind of stuff, so he was excited to make it for me!
The almost finished product! There's a couple holes that we left so that I could make a little sign with Ellie's name on it that we can just screw into it!! And of course, we spray painted it pink! :)
Perfect size and everything for Ellie!!!! And we didn't pay anything for the chair (a few years ago), bought the bowl for $4 and the spray paint for $3... So it costs us around $8 total to make this!!!

Not feeling well.. :(

Unfortunately, she got Kennel Cough recently. :( She got it pretty badly too. But luckily we were able to take her  to the vet and get some antibiotics and cough meds!!! And immediately they have helped and she is starting to feel better! The cough meds are amazing!!! She's able to be cough free for quite a few hours with it!! Hopefully in a couple days she'll be back to old self, than we can start going to the park and swimming again!

I turned TWO!

 September 26th, 2011 - She turned two!
She got all kinds of new toys, she's one happy girl!!!

I got to go SWIMMING!

The first time she's ever been swimming a pond (not a creek)!!!
The awesome fountain in the background!
She was swimming so funny in the beginning but after a bit she got a hang of it!
She got a stick and a ball in her mouth!!!
 <3 the fountain!
 Happy Girl!
Sad to be leaving but one tired puppy!

Twinkle Toes

Ellie got her nails painted pretty pink a few days ago!!! She's such a glamour girl!! :)

Homemade Dog Collars

This is a collar made out of one of my old belts that no longer fits me! It's super cute and didn't have to much to make it! :) I've seen some other ways of making collars for belts such as this...

So check that one out as well!! If you make any collars similar to these, let me know and send us a picture!
This collar was made out of rope that was tied into knots over and over! If you want a step by step of this just let me know and we'll make a video or post some pictures of how we did it! :) It looks super cute on Ellie and it's nice and thin and light weight!!!!
